Lady Maciste is a power-duo  formed on 2016  and based in Bellaria - Igea Marina (Rimini).

The two brothers Gian Luca  and Roberto , who have been playing in “Akemi” (active from 2002) , start a new project  with a devastating and more direct impact, getting a dark, psych blues and stoner sound.

Granitic drums  and a sharp guitar , which also comes out from the bass amp, combine in order to cover all the spectrum of sound.

On october 2018 the brothers realease an EP "LAUT", recorded in Stone Bridge Studio ( Cesena),  which gains really good reviews and then they start taking part to live sessions and festivals. In some of them such as "Freschissimo" (an music players competition organized by Lokomotiv in Bologna) and "Il rock è tratto" (another national competition for  emerging artist) they manage to get to the final gig.

The bands which influenced the brothers are:  One Dimensional Man, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Eels, the Kills, Queens of the Stone Age,  Sonic Youth, Verdena, Blonde Redhead, The Black Keys, dEUS and many more.
